Growing up in California, I had no
appreciation for the term “fall
colors.” The trees always had leaves on
them, and they stayed the same color
year-round. After moving to the
Northeast, I fell in love with autumn;
not just the leaf colors, but the season
as a whole. One season of apple farms,
corn mazes, the crisp air, and of course
the phenomenal palette of colors and I
was smitten. This photo makes me feel
warm and eager to share a tryst with
Lady Autumn once again.
