Albany, NY – April, 2005
Some people will claim that the Egg was built over a 12-year period, culminating in 1978.  I, however, side with the small minority that believe it was unearthed in the New Mexico desert in the early 1950’s, with its origins shrouded in mystery. It was moved to Albany in 1966 and the so-called “construction” of the structure was begun.  Now they fill it with music, dance, comedy, and any other type of distraction that keeps the public from asking too many questions…like, “Why would they move it to Albany?”
